Se Ri played this incredibly hard Major setup well in the first round, finishing Even for 14th place. In the second round she went -1, but that was good enough to vault her into a tie for third. Her third round was a magnificent 68, matched by tournament leader Beth Daniel, who maintained her four shot lead on Se Ri. Paired with Daniel in the final round, Se Ri methodically charged, putting enormous pressure on the veteran with birdies at 2 and 4 and a bogey on 5 while Daniel double bogeyed. On 10, Se Ri knocked her approach to 18 inches and Daniel bogeyed, allowing Se Ri to take the lead. From there, Se Ri breezed to a four shot lead and a dominating win.
