Won six way playoff over Webb, Kuehne, Koch, Steinhauer and Lunn
Se Ri played well in defense of her title. But with one hole to go, Carin Koch had a two shot lead and an almost sure victory. Then she double bogeyed the final par 5 hole, and a six way playoff resulted: the largest in LPGA history. Karrie Webb, Kelli Kuehne, Mardi Lunn, Sherri Steinhauer and Carin Koch were all only able to get par, though Kuehne and Webb each barely missed their birdies. Se Ri went last, and dunked a ten footer to repeat as champion. Another holiday victory in 1999, this time on Independence Day.
