In a one hole playoff over Karrie Webb

She Won: $390,000
The Scoop:
For three rounds, Swedish long bomber Sophie Gustafson dominated this tournament. No Korean had won on the LPGA tour since Seon Hwa had won the Match Play Championship ten months before, and it didn't look likely to change here. Seon Hwa started the day nine shots back, but Gustafson imploded, and Lee charged. On the final hole, Lee made an unbelievable 40 foot birdie putt from the fringe to leap into the lead at 14 under. A few minutes later, Karrie Webb also made a long birdie putt to tie Seon Hwa. In the playoff, however, Lee was cool, two putting while Webb three putted. Lee collected her third win, and the drought was over at last!
