One stroke over Pearl Sinn and Janice Moodie

She Won: $116,250
The Scoop:
After a slow start to her rookie season, Mi Hyun picked up steam, and by the end of the summer was notching one top ten after another. At the Rail, pity poor Janice Moodie. She was in contention when her ball came to rest in a fairway bunker on 13. As she went to hit the ball, she shooed a fly away that had landed on it. The rules official called her for a two stroke penalty for removing an obstruction in a hazard. This was later reversed, but by then Janice was too upset to focus. Mi Hyun took advantage, grabbing her first LPGA win. Fellow Korean Pearl Sinn, the defending champion, finished in a tie for second.
