Stephanie Kim played on the Futures Tour as
an amateur in 2008 and 2009. She enrolled in Wake Forest University
in the Fall of 2009 and played well there her Freshman year.
During the Fall of her Sophomore year, she participated in
LPGA Qualifying School, where she earned a category 20 tour
card for 2011. She thus turned pro.
In 2011, she played a few events on the LPGA,
but focused on the Futures Tour. She won her first career
victory at the Island Resort Championship, and ended the season
with 2 top tens, 21st on the money list. She went to LPGA
Q-School, but was not able to get a card.
Stephanie was eligible to play on the Symetra
Tour in 2012, but did not do so. It's not clear if she is
still competing or has retired, but I have not been able to
find any professional results for her after the start of 2012.
