Ara Koh started playing golf at the age of 10. She
turned pro in 1999 and played for two years on the KLPGA, where
she notched two second place finishes and won Rookie of the Year
in 2000. She earned non-exempt status at 2001 Q-School, and played
the tour in 2002. At 2002 Q-School she again earned non-exempt status.
In 2003, she struggled mightily, and sometime mid-season
headed back to Korea in frustration to work on her game. She returned
to play in the 2003 LPGA Q-School, but dropped out after two rounds.
Koh returned to play in Korea full time. The last
Korean tour tournaments she played in were in 2008; presumably she
has retired.
