Karen Chung grew up in Livingston, New Jersey. She
was a top junior, making first team All-American in 2008, 2011 and
2012. She won back-to-back AJGA Championships in 2009 and 2010.
She attended college at USC, where she won three
tournaments. In 2016, she attended LPGA Q-School and earned tour
membership, so she left school shortly before graduation in 2017
to join the tour.
Karen made the cut in 8 out of 19 events in 2017
and lost her tour card. She did earn another card for 2019, but
again was not able to keep it, and played from 2020 - 2022 on the
Epson tour.
In 2022 she attended LPGA Q-Series and once again
earned limited tour membership for 2023 by finishing tied for 28th.
She played nine events in 2023 but only made one cut, at the team
event. She lost her card for 2024 and will return full time to the
Epson tour.
