Capsule Bio

Ji Na Lim joined the KLPGA in 2006. She collected four top tens that year. But it was 2007 in which she really broke through on tour. She had five top tens that year, but her first top five finishes. She really picked it up at the end of the year, with a 5th place finish at the Hite Cup, followed by her first win at the S-OIL Invitational. She finished 8th on the money list in 2007, 18th in 2008.

2009 was a return to form for Lim. She won another event, the LG Electronics Women's Open, and had four other top tens, to finish 8th on the money list. She even got her first chance to appear as an entertainer at the year ending KLPGA Awards show, dancing in a salsa number with other top stars.

Ji Na Lim had a pretty weak 2010 on the KLPGA tour. She only finished 37th on the money list, and had just 2 top tens during the year, the best result being a 9th. In the Fall, she attended Japanese LPGA Qualifying School. She finished 12th and will presumably join that tour full time in 2011.

Lim did not end up finishing on the top 50 of the JLPGA money list in 2011. She did better in Korea, playing multiple events on the KLPGA. There, she managed three third places, including a semifinal loss to Soo Jin Yang at the Doosan Match Play. She was 29th on the KLPGA money list.

Lim had a weak 2012 season on the KLPGA tour. Her best results were back to back 3rd places at the Doosan Match Play and Lotte Cantata Open in late May/early June. Those were her only top tens; she finished 31st on the money list.

Lim struggled even more in 2013. She had only one top ten all year, a 4th at the S-OIL Champions. She finished just 43rd on the money list for the season with about 82 million won earned.

Lim's downward slide continued in 2014. She only finished 68th on the money list that year, with less than 50 million won earned. Her best finish was an 18th place. She finished 75th in 2015, with about 52 million won earned. Her best finish was a 12th.

Lim made only two cuts in 2016, with her best finish a 23rd place. She has not played since 2016 and may have retired.
