Capsule Bio

Jennifer Chang is a Korean American who was born in Missouri but grew up in Cary, North Carolina. She was a strong junior golfer, becoming the first ever golfer to win the North Carolina state championship four times. She was also a finalist at the US Girls Junior in 2017. These accomplishments earned her admittance to USC, where she played on one of the best golf teams in the country. She won three times in two seasons and was a 2019 All-American.

Jennifer left school early and enrolled at 2019 Q-Series, where she finished tied for 9th and earned full status on the LPGA tour for 2020.

She struggled a bit her first two seasons, notching just 5 made cuts in 2020 and 13 of 19 cuts made in 2021. She returned to Q-Series in 2021 but finished tied for 16th to earn another card for 2022.

Jennifer had her career best year in 2022, earning nearly $300,000 and notching her best finish in a Major (tied for 10th at the KPMG). She finished 77th on the money list, keeping her card for 2023.

Jennifer had a weaker 2023 season. Her best finish all year in an individual event was a tie for 33rd, and she earned less than $100,000 all season. As a result, her status dropped to category 19 for 2024.
