Capsule Bio

Erynne Lee was born in Los Angeles, California. She moved to Silverdale, WA, and became a young golf star. She was a five time AJGA honoree: first team in 2007, second team in 2009 and 2010, and honorable mention in 2006 and 2008.

She had several good runs at the US Women's Amateur. She made it to the semifinals in 2008 and the quarterfinals in 2011. She also played in the US Women's Open those years, missing the cut both times.

In 2011, she entered college and joined the UCLA golf team. She ended that season ranked sixth in the college game by GolfWeek magazine and was also a First Team All American. In the summer of 2012, Lee played on the American team at the Women's World Championship and lost in the quarterfinals of the US Women's Amateur. She also missed the cut at the LPGA's CN Canadian Women's Open.

In early 2013, Lee led the American squad to the victory at the Copa de las Americas. Lee won the individual top honors as well. In the summer of 2014, she was 2-2-0 at the Curtis Cup, helping the US team to win that prestigious trophy.

Erynne managed a win and six top tens in her final year in college, then graduated in 2015. Just a couple of months later, she managed her first professional win on the minor league Cactus Tour.

Erynne joined the Symetra Tour in 2016, and won her very first event in February. She wound up 17th on the money list, so remained on the Symetra Tour in 2017. But that season, she won twice and made $80,000 on tour, good for 6th on the tour money list. At last, she had played well enough to earn a full tour card on the LPGA, and was a rookie there in 2018.

Her rookie year in 2018 started promisingly: she made her first three cuts and notched a tie for 7th at the Founders Cup. But after that, she did not make another cut the rest of the season. She failed to earn status at Q-Series and fell to category 18 status for 2019.

In 2019, she missed the cut at all four events she played and lost all playing privileges on tour. She presumably returned to the Symetra Tour in 2020, but has not been able to make it back to the LPGA and has probably retired.
