Ha Na Chae was one of the top amateur golfers
in Korea; she played in 2005 on the Korean National team.
In late 2005, she entered the Futures Tour Qualifying School,
where she finished third, earning full playing privileges
on that tour. She then entered the LPGA's Q-School, turning
pro to do so, but was only able to acquire conditional status
on that tour.
Chae played the Futures Tour in 2006, where
she did pretty well, finishing 16th on their money list. The
highlight of her season was winning the Alliance Bank Futures
Golf Classic in Syracuse, New York. She was unable to gain
status on the LPGA either through the Futures Tour or LPGA
Q-School, and so played the Futures Tour again in 2007. That
year, she finished 10th on the money list, but once again
could not make her way to the LPGA.
In 2009, she played mostly on the KLPGA, where
she finished 66th on the money list.
After that through 2017, she had been playing
mostly on the Dream Tour, the KLPGA's developmental tour.
She has not played at all since 2017, however, and may have
retired.
