Auston Kim was born in St. Augustine, FL,
and went to college at Vanderbilt. She turned pro in 2023
and joined the Epson Tour, where she recorded ten top tens
including a win at the Epson Tour Championship. She finished
third on the money list with nearly $120,000 to earn a tour
card for the 2024 LPGA season.
Auston quickly impressed as a rookie in 2024
with her booming drives and low scoring. She shot a 64 in
the third round of her first tournament, the Drive On Championship,
and notched a tie for 6th. She would end up with three top
tens in 2024, including a solo 3rd at the Lotte Championship
in Hawaii. She earned over $588,000 for the season, 66th on
the money list, and easily earned a top tour status for 2025.
She also finished 6th in the Rookie of the Year race.
