The Scoop:
Grace's first match play tournament of her pro career went extremely well. She easily beat Japanese player Mikino Kubo in the first round. In the second round she went down to the last hole against Karrie Webb. Grace blew out her next two opponents to get into the finals. There she faced surprise finalist Midori Yoneyama, who took an early lead, then was caught by Grace. They eventually tied after 18 holes when Yoneyama's winning putt just stopped short. On the second playoff hole, Grace hit her approach into the woods, and Yoneyama had a par putt from two feet for the win. She missed that one, too. Finally, on the fourth playoff hole Grace nailed an 18 foot birdie to take the match.
