The Annual KLPGA Awards Show AKA the Ji Yai Shin Show
Monday, December 3rd, the KLPGA had the annual Ji Yai Shin Awards... Uh,
I mean the KLPGA Awards Show. Believe it or not, despite dominating the
league a second straight year, Ji Yai would not win as many awards as
she did last year... But that's because she's no longer a rookie, and
can't win the Rookie of the Year like she did in 2006! This year, the
Rookie of the Year award went to Ha Neul Kim, who showed up looking like
a pop star in a beautiful dress (below, she is seen striking a pose with
Ji Yai).
Indeed, it was quite a fashion show. Dig these lovely gowns the KLPGA
golfers showed up in. (L to R): Ha Neul again, Young Ran Jo, Ji Ye Yo
and Da Ye Na.
The last two years, the event was hosted by Young Kim, but this time,
it was LPGA rookie Jin Joo Hong who did the honors:
Ha Neul also doubled as an amateur photographer during the night (you can see Da Ye Na down in the right corner as well)
But she got her share of attention from the paparazzi as well:
Here's a rundown of the award winners for 2007. First, we start with that all important nod, the Best Dresser. The past winners include Soo-Yun Kang and Jin Joo Hong, but this year the award went to Ji Yae Yeo:
Meanwhile, the Most Popular award went to... Eun Hee Ji! Congrats to her:
