Letter from the Editor

You may have noticed
that this issue of Seoul Sisters Magazine is a bit smaller than in the past. Well, there are a couple of reasons for that, but the most important one is, I'm going mobile! That is, the next few weeks will be a busy time for your humble editor, as he heads to Pumpkin Ridge to cover the US Women's Open for this site. Then the next week I'm going up to Vancouver to cover the Canadian Women's Open. It is rare when there is more than one women's golf event within the area in a calendar year, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to cover these happenings.

I'll be getting lots of photos and behind the scenes stories of these two important events. Mostly, though, I'm hoping I'll be a first hand witness to some magic from the ladies. Grace showed she is ready to compete in the Majors; Se Ri has always been a threat in the big events, and on the fifth anniversary of her last US Women's Open win (has it really been five years since Blackwolf Run? Amazing...), what would be sweeter than if she could do it again? And don't forget about Hee-Won Han, who showed she has the game to play half a Major at least (and now just has to finish the deal!), or Mi Hyun Kim, who cannot get married until she wins the Open (not that she is planning to marry soon; but her mother has said she will not be able to even entertain the thought until she wins the big one. Talk about pressure!). As well, Jeong Jang, Soo Yun Kang, Christina Kim, Young Kim, Jimin Kang and others provide a host of possible stories that could come out of this next couple of weeks.

So hang tight, fellow babies! With any luck, issue ten of Seoul Sisters Magazine might just be a heirloom collector's item that you will want to share with your kids and grandkids! Or not! But at least I'll get a good vacation out of it!

See you in two weeks!

Eric
