Top Ten for Se Ri:
Lost in the excitement of Se Ri's attempt to make history at the Nabisco is another fact: with her win at the Safeway Ping, Se Ri moved to tenth on the LPGA's all time career money list. And with her second place finish in L.A., she broke the six million dollar mark in career earnings in a little more than five years on tour. Se Ri is now roughly $175,000 behind number 9 Laura Davies. If Se Ri keeps playing the way she has been, look for her to keep moving up the list this year!

Grace gets her degree
I don't have the details on this (if one of my Korean readers wants to fill me in, I'd be grateful!), but I've heard that Grace has just completed her undergraduate degree! No, she didn't quit the tour to go back to school! Via a special arrangement with Ewha Women's University in Korea, she was able to get her degree via correspondence classes. Don't know what she majored in, but I'll be sure to let you know as soon as I find out! Well done, Grace!

Futures-rama
After three events on the Futures Tour, Korean 19 year old Soo Young Moon is leading the money list. Moon had a win in the first event of the year, and has followed that up with an 8th and a 14th place finish in the other two events.

In 4th place on the money list is another Korean, Ju Kim. Kim is the highest ranked player who has not had a win yet in 2003. She has finished 3rd, 4th and 6th in her first three events this year. Kim, who is 21, has played on the Futures Tour now three years. She narrowly missed getting an LPGA exempt card in 2001, when she finished just a few hundred dollars behind Jung Yeon Lee on the money list. She has two career Futures Tour victories, and you just might see her on the LPGA tour before too long!
