April 18, 2007: Nabisco

Nabisco... the 1st major of the year... Great golf course, beautiful weather w/ lots of friends from everywhere. When you imagine waking up in the morning w/ sunshine... that's a GOOD MORNING!

That's how I felt for the Kraft Nabisco Championship!!! The 1st time I played that tournament was the year 2000 as an amateur. I got invited then, but I brought 2 much homework with me 2 play tournament!!! Oh well, I don't get any homework from school anymore... but sometimes I do miss having homework & going to classes...can you believe that? Who can possibly miss those things?!

Suzanne (Pettersen) will WIN this year cuz she is a great player & friend. I'm very proud of Morgan (Pressel)!!! What a win for an 18 yr old girl!!! Very happy for her.

Next was the Ginn in Florida... I luv the oranges, but the air is too heavy!!! Maybe it's good for your skin since it's not dry, but... guess I've been used 2 living in Dry Heat!!! The GREENS ~~~ putts!!! I couldn't read them... I don't know why?!?!?!? I struggled... oh well, that's golf, isn't it? It drives you crazy, but you still luv the fact that you can't get enough & that's what I luv 2 do ~ for now!!! You know what's really hard? To be patient. I can be patient to stand on line or wait for something, but just being patient and keeping it up on course, hoping one moment that I will have my big smile on Sunday after my last putt... I think that's the toughest thing to be patient about, waiting for that...

PLEASE pray for me & my caddy Dana for safe trips & health throughout the season. I enjoy playing golf & appreciate so much how blessed I am playing golf as my job & that I have family, friends, & fans who give me so much support. Hope that everything is well with you.
