One Hit Wonder? Hardly!

Se Ri Pak is seen in this photo arriving in South Korea in October. She had the splint on her finger, as she was still recovering from the injury that had ended her 2005 season at that time.

But the most noticeable thing about this photo, besides the finger, is Se Ri's tee shirt: It says on it, in big letters, 'One Hit Wonder'. Does Se Ri really believe she is a one hit wonder? Or is this an ironic comment on the slump that she was mired in all year? If the latter, it shows she still has a sense of humor, and is not about to let a few knocks defeat her. And that is precisely the attitude that will prevent her from ever being a 'one hit wonder'. If she can keep thinking positively, perhaps 2006 will be a return to form for the Hall of Famer. Certainly, nobody would 'wonder' why that happened!
